Canyons School District UATT (Utah Assistive Technology Team) is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the communication and learning skills of students with disabilities.
Canyons UATT serves as a resource for consultation, assessment, and implementation of assistive technology for students on an IEP or 504 plan to support them in accessing the general education curriculum. Many students we support are nonspeaking or severely limited in their quality of speech. Additionally, UATT supports students needing adaptations in written expression and/or reading decoding. We do not provide ongoing services or therapy, Utah Assistive Technology Teams were established by the state of Utah to provide consultation to IEP/504 teams and their families.
