Canyons School District UATT (Utah Assistive Technology Team) is dedicated to improving the communication and learning skills of students with disabilities. Our Team consists of three Speech-Language Pathologists, one Occupational Therapist, one Special Education Teacher, one part-time Paraeducator and our administrative representative is the Speech-Language Coordinator for the district.
Canyons UATT serves as a resource for assessment and development of communication and technology systems for students who are nonspeaking or severely limited in their quality of speech or written language and may need adaptations to adequately access communication and/or the core curriculum. UATT Teams were established for the purpose of assessing student communication needs and for providing consultation to IEP teams for ongoing programming. We do not provide ongoing services or therapy.
